| are not as good as the cartoons of the 80's and 90's. Mainly b/c of the stupid censorship that cartoon studios have to use. Back then Batman The Animated Series never had that kind of stuff. That show had blood (lots of it in the very first episode), death and guns. It also had good writing and stories. Today violance has been lowered down a lot. Im seeing laser guns that dont kill people, retarded puns, and no death at all. stories are decent. I miss the good ol days where cartoons are violent. I remember this one episode of Batman TAS where Batgirl fell off the building and landed on top of Commishener Gordon's car and died. Though this was just batgirl's nightmare created by the Scarecrow.
What im saying is cartoons need to improve. they need to be more violent. Shows like Spectacular Spider-Man is actually an improvement over the recent shows that been showing lately.
Also sorry for my horrible grammer, I was writting this quickly. Another thing dont include anything adultswim related. | |

| Its the truth, but America is toning down the violence so that "kids of this generation isnt exposed and imitate such violence." |

| Well if anybody we have to blame are the mothers who sent letters to the FCC about censoring stuff. Censoring is something we don't need! The kids/children will find out sooner or later so there is no point to censor! If parents don't want their children watching those kind of things then don't let them see it, instead of complaining to the producers. >.> more to tell but don't feel like typing it all since it will go to the discussion of my hate on 4Kids. | |

| The Spawn cartoon would be filled with censored parts, but yes today's cartoons will never be as good as 80's and 90's cartoons. Animaniacs FTW! | |

| Disney also had its share of violance back in the day. Disney's Gargoyles had an episode where one of the heroes was shot and you see a puddle of blood under her. There was another episode where one of the villians turned Manhattan's citizens into a city of stone. The villian (i forgot the name) went on a rampage and started destroying the statues that were once human. Why cant carttons today be that violent again? | |

| Such a shame that American cartoons began competing against the animes. | |
