They've been having it Japan forever hehe. Now here in the US, if you have a My Nintendo account on Nintendo.com you upgrade to join Club Nintendo. So now for every game you have registered you do a survey and get coins and with those coins you trade them for rewards, actual rewards like DS cases, Nintendo Game Cards, etc... It's pretty neat.
