It appears that Resident Evil producer Jun Takeuchi is ready to hit the reset button for the next game in the series. Speaking with 1UP, Takeuchi believes that a reboot is possible for Resident Evil 6. No further details were given, so it's unclear whether he means RE3 to RE4 type change, or something bigger.
In our interview with Takeuchi, we did ask what the plans are for RE6. The producer told us that Capcom is simply in the "thinking about it stage" of development. However, he does believe that if too much time goes by between this installment and the next, that people lose expectation. Probably not a good idea to wait too long between franchise installments, though, as other games can fill people's heads with new expectations. all credits go to alexander sliwinski
Editor's Note: It Takes a Nation of Millions
In what is destined to be the first genuinely epic game of 2009, Resident Evil 5 is practically guaranteed to be the last of its kind, with the game's producer, Jun Takeuchi, assuring us that a reboot is in order for the inevitable Resident Evil 6. That's not to suggest that there's anything wrong with the evil at hand. Quite the opposite; it's awesome fun, and we've beaten the game from beginning to end, and have a week's worth of detailed, insider info for you to enjoy. Check out our exclusive interview, videos of unseen levels, and our final hands-on preview to see if Capcom's controversial new survival-horror game lives up to its legacy.

Is Capcom Announcing RE Code: Veronica for Wii on March 12? Strong hints suggest a port or remake of the classic Resident Evil Dreamcast game is coming. By Kris Pigna, 03/07/2009
On Thursday, March 12, Capcom will hold a launch event for Resident Evil 5 in San Francisco. And going by some strong evidence circulating the web, they'll also announce a new Resident Evil title for the Wii -- and it just may be a port or remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica. Speaking to Game Focus (via Kotaku), product manager Matt Dahlgren shot down a staff member's plea for a Code: Veronica release over XBLA or PSN, but still dropped a savory hint regarding the game: "Nothing is planned for the game regarding a remake on PSN/XBLA, but what I can say is if you are a fan of Code: Veronica you should pay attention in the next couple of weeks -- there is some news you should be very pleased with. Tell him to pay attention on the 12th (March)."
Adding grist to the mill, Dahlgren also gave this morsel of info to Joystiq regarding a new title for the Wii: "[Resident Evil 5] was made for the Xbox 360 and PS3. That being said, Nintendo Wii fans will be very happy very soon."
Which begs the question: Would a remake of Code: Veronica make you very happy, Wii owners? Considering a port of Code: Veronica came out for the GameCube back in 2003, if Capcom does announce a version for the Wii next week, we really hope it'll add a lot more than just Wii controls to the game... All Material Aove were Copy and Paste
However the New Resident Evil Wii Game isn't Resident Evil code-Veronica But title as Resident Evil Darkside Chronicle a sequel to Resident Evil Chronicle and will cover part of RE 2 Story and new an unexplorer parts and unseen aspect of of the storyline will be explorer
