Information
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is an action-adventure game currently in development by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development, and the sixteenth installment in the Legend of Zelda series. Scheduled for 2011, it is planned to be released for the Wii console and will heavily utilize the Wii MotionPlus peripheral for sword-fighting, with a revised Wii Remote pointing system used for targeting. The director is Eiji Aonuma and the producer is Shigeru Miyamoto.
THE GAME WILL NOT BE RELEASED ON WII U.
Story
Link is born and raised in a land called Sky Loft, a land floating above the clouds. It may sound unique for someone to live on a floating land, but Link finds it ordinary. A land beneath the clouds is discovered, it's ruled by evil forces, but Link is forced to go there. Link has to travel between the two lands in this adventure. The Skyward Sword is his driving force behind his traveling between lands. That mysterious figure in last year's art is the Skyward Sword. This is a prequel to Ocarina of Time which is a prequel to every Zelda ever made. What. The. Fuck.
Music The Music will be composed by Super Mario Galaxy composer Mahito Yokota and will serve as the team's orchestration director. So expect some epic shit.

According to a recent IGN article: -SS is finished, Aonuma and Miyamoto are simply fine-tuning the game's balance -Ganon might not be in the game -Zelda isn't a princess -This is the first game in the Zelda timeline -Skyloft will function as a hub for the game, similar to Clock Town in MM -We'll be getting some cool items at the start of the game, rather than having to wait the whole game for cool items -Ghiraham's character will change throughout the course of the game. He'll become much ruder the more Link defeats him -They tried drawing inspiration from older, 2D games

And I wont be getting this game because I'm a derp unless theres a way to make my Wii display in good quality instead of that crappy blurry non HD quality in my HD tv.
