Batman Arkham Asylum is awesome

BUT DO NOT BUY THE COLLECTORS EDITION PLEASE!! It comes with a batarang thats made out of the same plastic thats in Legos. Its poorly made and a waste of money ( i should know cuz im one of those people who were fooled to buy it). Do yourself a favor and buy the regular edition instead

Anyways its a great game and has a well done story
The combat is so welldone, you'll be jumping all over the place annihilating everyone on site! Fuck i mean i took down like 15 of them in a matter of seconds. Dont expect to just mash the attack button all the time though, they tend to get harder as you go further into the game.
Stealth mechanics is pretty good. Its pretty much the basic hide and take down the enemies as quietly as you can only except you have gadgets to help you batarangs to stun your enemies and explosive gel to take down your enemies. And theres also the detective mode which is pretty much x-ray vision.

Like i said before buy the regular edition of the game, its really worth it.

Batman's forearms are too big and hair tends to look plasticy, but the game looks great in motion. Batman's damage detail by the end of the game is a nice touch.

Most of the voice acting is out of the world good. I could listen to the Joker and Riddler talk all day long. The score sets the mood as well. Excellent work.

9.5 Gameplay
At its core, the fist fighting is simple but it is fun. Meanwhile, attacking from the shadows and using bat-gadgets is what being Batman is all about.

9.0 Lasting Appeal
Beating the story and 240 riddles took me 12 hours. If you don't feel like Edward's clues, you'll be done faster. The challenge mode should keep you going if you dig the combat.

It wouldve been fun it'd been made out of high quality material and detachable so you poke someones eye out. Hell id just literally bury it into my wall if i could.
